A Change in habitat
Dams are a very important tool for how many cities get there energy and is instrumental in the way we live, however there are many factors that switch up our habitat because of these dams, especially for the fishies. Sometimes the hallways during passing time feels like a fish migration, people everywhere going in one direction going to different destinations, what would happen if a giant wall was set up in the middle of the hall way blocking students paths? It would for sure change the way you get to class. This is what happens when a dam is placed in a river, it blocks the path of fish migrations that they have been doing for years. A dam causing a break in migration patterns is one of the negative impacts that dams do to rivers.
